Making and designing jewellery makes me sparkle. It truly does. Every piece of jewellery is made with love and by hand in my home studio.
I try to add some poetry to my jewellery. Sometimes it’s in the design, other times it is in the name or in the inspiration for the piece. Or you can find it in the combination of the piece and the story of the wearer. I believe we can all use some poetry in our lifes these days.
My jewellery is handmade from genuine quality materials. I work with Sterling Silver (925) and 18kt gold, sometimes even 24kt gold, with carefully chosen precious stones, pearls and diamonds.
As a gem addict, I am so lucky to be living in Antwerp. I get the chance to hop on my bike and select my gemstones personally and with care. Believe me when I say I often feel like a child left in a candy store when I go out gem hunting.
After mastering the basics, I refinded my skills in the lovely workshop of a goldsmith in the beautiful center of Antwerp where I worked for five years. I am grateful for everything this warm family business thought me. I keep learning, as the possibilities and skills for making jewellery are endless.
I get inspired by nature and the beauty of small things.
